GERMAN GOLF TITLE
ALLISS WINS, HORTON SMITH RUNNER-UP (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11 a.m. BERLIN, Sunday. Alliss, in the third and fourth rounds of the German golf championship, returned 70 and 74, an aggregate of 255, and retained the title, which he has held continuously since it was inaugurated in 1925. He was followed by i Horton Smith, 73-74, 257; Farrell, 74- | 71, 289; Hagen, 74-72, 290. Others include Dudley 291, Boomer i 294, Brews 301, Tumsea 307, Tolley j 308.
