OTAHUHU V. KINGSLAND
Although only eight points separated the two teams at the call of time, the result was never in doubt when Kingsland played Otahuhu. The match was played at Otahuhu, and the home team won by 11-3. Otahuhu opened with a strong attack, and scored within the first five minutes. The exhibition throughout was patchy, neither team playing up to its usual form.
Te Puni, as first five-eighth for Otahuhu, was the pick of the backs, and Heath was the outstanding player among the forwards. Mr. Hancock was referee.
