AT DIXIELAND

MANY SMART GOWNS There was just sufficient “nip” in the air on Saturday evening to make dancing really enjoyable and a large number of dancers spent a very pleasant evening at Dixieland Cabaret. Mr. Harry Xeilson and his orchestra were m sood form, and played all the latest numbers in their inimitable fashion. Miss Marion Phillips, wearing a cloth of silver gown, with a peacock bow of begonia taffeta. Miss Edna Steele, delphinium blue crepe faille frock, with pointed hem of silver lace. Miss Greta Heron, whose black georgette gown was embroidered with rhinestones. Miss Nance Lennox, who wore orchidcoloured georgette, with embroideries of sliver. Miss Lois Adams, wearing lido blue taffeta, with shadow hem of blue georgette. Miss D. Garrett, whose taffeta frock of forget-me-not blue had a deeplypetalled hem of pastel pink. Miss R. Leity, whose green georgette gown was trimmed with gold paillettes. Miss Epsom, wearing ivory chiffon with deep hem of finest silver lace. Miss Painter, whose frock of uneven length was of peach tinted georgette.
