One More Tour of N.Z.
GOING BACK TO LONDON
Elsie Prince says tliat this will be her last tour of Australia and New Zealand for some years, anyway. She will appear in some other Australian centres, play a short season in New Zealand, and then make her w r ay back to London, whence several offers have already come. Miss Prince says she could have had the lead in “Mr. Cinders,” recently staged in. London, had she been free to take it. This vivacious 1 English girl seems | to be able to adapt herself to any role. Auckland audiences remember her best as Nanette, but also in “Archie” and “Lady, Be Good!” She was in two roles in “Good News,” in which she danced the “Varsity Drag.” An American paid her the compliment of refusing to believe that she had never been in that country. Miss Prince will return to London by way of America, just to see that country. Slje says she must return to England, because she feels the call of London and knows that it is a bad thing to be away too long. But she will certainly pay another visit to Australia at some future date.
