PARTY FOR BRIDE
In honour of the approaching wedding of their eldest daughter, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Hingston gave a social evening in the Public Hall at Ohaeawai on Tuesday last. The hall was decorated with red and gold streamers, and greenery interspersed with Chinese lanterns. The entertainment took the form of games and dancing, the music being supplied by Mrs. A. J. Edwards. Mrs. Hingston received her guests in black silk overlaced and gold shawl.
