PASTEL BLUE GOWN TRACED WITH BEADS WORN BY BRIDE

RAINBOW-CLAD MAIDS JENSEN—BESTIC A wedding that evolved considerable interest was celebrated last evening at St. Michaels and All Angels’ Church. Belmont, when .Miss Helen J. V. Bestic, second daughter of Mrs. A. X'. Bestic, of Bavswater, was wedded to Mr. Horace A. Jensen, son of Air. and Mrs. Jensen, of Weber, Danneyirke. The Rev. J. Piggott officiated. The bride was given away by Mr. Wily. Her frock was of pastel blue satin over pink georgette. A # ral spray relieved with brilliants was embroidered on th^*left shoulder. The flared skirt was of uneven liem design and its most prominent feature was an embroidered band of generous width encircling it. Brilliants were attractively worked into the floral design of the embroidery. The bridal veil was of gossamer pink tulle, embroidered over its full length. A coronet of orange blossom and brilliants was warn, and the bride carried a bouquet of shaded pink and cream chrysanthemums and maiden-hair fern from which pink tulle streamers fell. A sister of the bride, Miss Cannie Bestic, attended as chief bridesmaid. Her frock was of pink georgette, the corsage embroidered with silver. The skirt was flounced and was also of the uneven hem variety. A buckle of brilliants was caught at tlie right side, and gave a chic touch to the frock. SWEET PEAS AND DAISIES The headdress was of pink tulle, railing to the waist-line and relieved vvitn silver. A shower bouquet of pink sweet peas and African daisies, with pink tulle streamers, was carried. Tho second maid was Miss Thelma Clarke, ■of elling ton, who was in a frock of embossed pink georgette. The skirt was prettily frilled and had an uneven hem. Her headdress and shower bouquet were identical with those worn by' the chief bridesmaid. PEACHBLOOM SATIN The bridal group was completed by' Miss Pixie Bestic. Her frock was a striking one of peachbloom georgette over peach satin. An accordeanpleated panel was displayed in the front of the corsage. The skirt was petalled and accodean-pleating was effectively used. Two swathes of pink shaded ribbon gave a final touch to a charming frock. A light fawn hat with ,royal blue relief was worn, and a bouquet of magenta flowers was carried. Mr. Albert Jensen, a brother of the bridegroom, attended as best man, the duties of groomsman being carried out by Mr. James Smith. After the ceremony a reception was held at the clubhouse, Bayswatr;*. Both the reception room and the church were decorated with white and blue flowers.
