FIELD AMBULANCE
REUNION HELD A reunion of members of the No. 2 Field Ambulance of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force was held last evening, when the former commander of the unit, Colonel D. N. \V. Murray, presided. A letter was received from MajorGeneral Sir George Richardson referring to the work of the stretcher-bear-ers and other members of the various medical corps during tile war. The Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, also sent a letter paying a tribute to the work carried out by members of the medical service. Sir Donald McGavin, who commanded the ambulance division in France, sent an apology for his absence. Addressing the gathering. Colonel Murray recalled incidents in the history of the unit. He mentioned that it was formed at Moascar Camp in 1916 after Gallipoli. Colonel Murray was presented t\ith an engraved silver cigarette case by the members. A short toast list was also honoured. >
