Unique Cartoons Make Decoration 1 ( ALPINE SPORTS CLUB i The Alpine Sports Club held its first £ “At Home" of the season last evening i in the Lewis Eady Hall, the function l proving very bright and successful. i The coloured lighting effects were < unusually beautiful and a novel fea- •, ture of the decorations were a number of amusing chalk and black ink cartoons, by Mr. Alan G. Tizard, which < were displayed round the walls. Tubs - of tall bamboo were arranged in the hall and ferns and flowering pot . plants bonked the stage from which ’ the Kit Ivat Orchestra dispensed the J latest dance tunes.
