COLOURFUL FROCKS The friends of Aliss Reo Brown gave a delightful little surprise party at her residence in Quadrant Road, Onehunga, on Monday evening. Aliss Reo Brown was wearing a frock of flame crepe do chine with ivory shawl. Among the guests were: Aliss Adele Winks, in green shot tafleta, with uneven liem-line and silver lame shawl; Aliss Zoe Lamara (Whangarei), who wore mauve shot taffeta with rose shawl: Aliss Alaru Brown in gold lame and blue Spanish shawl: Miss IV? we » Rearing embroidered blue tatteta; Aliss Iris Scantelbury, wearing mauve crepe, de chine with retailed skirt and ivory shawl; Aliss Joan Fox, in a period frock of apricot taffeta; Aliss Eileen Shearer, who wore pink taffeta and embroidered ivory shawl; Miss Slieila V hitley, in powder blue georgette with ivory shawl; Miss Margaret MoKendrick. wearing apricot satin and tulle.
