This undoubtedly w-as her “Fortune Theatre.” for one JJ*ht Harry Lachman. the well-known . director, saw her, and seeing Jo her the star for his next picture, immediately interviewed her and arfor a screen test. So successful was she in the test that she signed up to a contract with British International Pictures.
