MISTER GAMP’S RIDER
\\ ITH a particularly fine chance ' of capturing the Great Northern Hurdles, with Mister Gamp, the Manaw; I u trainer, J. Coyle, has found it is little use having a good horse without a good rider, so he has engaged A. E. Ellis to pilot the chestnut in the big hurdles. Spectators favourably commented on the condition of Mister Gamp at Ellerslie this morning, and the connections of the gelding make no secret of the fact that with a stand-up they expect him to win. Son o’ Mine and Vexatious, both members of Coyle's team, are to be piloted by A. Hobson and C. Robinson. Both may race in the Green Lane Steeplechase. Keddar’s mission is the Members’ Handicsip, R. Reed having been secured to ride him.
