PRINCE OPENS CONFERENCE TIMBER MILL UNEMPLOYMENT TROUBLE (Australian and AAZ. Press Association) ( United Service) Reed. 11 a.m. LONDON, Sunday. Opening the British Legion Conference, the Prince of Wales urged continuance of financial support, and efforts to reduce unemployment. The pilgrimages to the battlefields should be repeated annually, to increase the spirit of comradeship. Earl Jellicoe, the president, said unemployment was still pressing, though, the year’s work was encouraging.
