GOOD FISHING
GOVERNOR-GENERAL’S TOUR SPORT ON TONGARIRO The Governor-General. Sir ('hark* Fergusson, returned to Auckland yesterday with the Lady Alice Fergusson from a fishing trip on the banka of th® Tongari’o River. The trip lasted two weeks, during which his Excellency enjoyed splendid sport. The party, which included Captain E. P. O. Boyle, military' secretary, and Captain Orr-Ewing, A.D.0., caught 11V trout, rr ost of the fish being in good condition. The party lived at the caretaker's cottage at the Government hatcheries on the Tongariro. and enjoyed favourable weather.
