SEPARATE AUTHORITY PROBABLE MINISTERIAL FORECAST (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Today. There is a possibility of the Government constituting separate licensing authorities for omnibuses only. At the meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council last evening, the Hon. W. A. Veitch Minister of Transport, advised that the Transport Advisory Council would probably consider establishing a separate authority for omnibuses. The council recently wrote to the Minister pointing out that although it was No. 4 Licensing Authority and controlled a large district, including Te Awamutu, Cambridge and Raglan, these areas had no representation, anci mistakes were often made.
