VISIT TO NATIONAL PARK

TECHNICAL COLLEGE STUDENTS Students and teachers from the Seddon Memorial Technical College returned yesterday morning from a visit to National Park. The party which included 24 boys, 10 girls, and five teachers, was under the charge of Mr. R. M. "Webber, and left Auckland on Friday, and on the following day visited the Silica Springs and Taranaki Falls. Mr. L. S. Abbott, of Auckland, acted as guide to the party. On Sunday, the majority of the party set out with the intention of reaching the summit of Mount Ruapehu, and nine members, including one girl, climbed to the top. Various places of interest on the lower level were visited on Monday, but the wet weather on Tuesday prevented further excursions being made.
