GOVERNOR OF MADRAS
British Official Wireless Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Monday. The King has approved the appointment of Lieutenant-Colonel George Stanley to be Governor of the Presidency of Madras ,in succession to Viscount Goschen, whose tenure of office will expire in the autumn.
