WINGED “ALL BLACK”
CHRISTENING MR. MASK’S PLANE EARLY START FOR N.Z. / Lady Abs Bailey, champion airwoman of the world*, will christen Mr. Frank Mase's plane at the Lympne Airdrome to-piorrovv. Auckland airman’s SimmondsSpartan machine is to be called the “All Black.” According to private cable advice Mr. Mase will set out next Wednesday to fly to New Zealand, via Rome, Malta, Benghazi, Cairo, Bagdad, Basra, Bushire, Karachi, Allahabad, Calcutta, Rangoon, Victoria Point, Batavia, Sourabaya, Bima, Darwin, Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart. Christchurch is his objective. Lympne, where Mr. Mase will take off on his long flight, is on the Kentish coast, near Hythe.
