ELECTION.- OF OFFICERS

Bro. W. W. Massey, president oi the . Ota huhu Orphans’ Club, presided over a large attendance of members and c intending members at the annual j meeting of the club, held in the Gas . Company’s Social Hall on Tuesday evening. He extended his thanks to ] the members of the executive for the i great assistance they had been to him . during his term of office, and also , eulogised the good services of Bro. Edwin Parker, as conductor of the orchestra, and Bro. J. Hutton, as accompanist. The report showed the total membership is 139. The finances of the club are in a sound position. The balance sheet, which was approved, showed a small credit balance. It was decided to hold the .opening social in the Public Hall on Tuesday, April 23.
