Firemen’s Superannuation ? A deputation from the Dunedin Fire Brigade approached the Hon. W. R. Taverner this morning, and asked for an amendment of the Fire Brigades Act so as to permit fire boards to subsidise contributions from firemen to the superannuation fund. In promising to bring the question before the Minister of Internal Affairs. Mr. Taverner stated he was personally sympathetic. —P.A.
