Mr. Havelock Wilson, formerly general president of the British Seamen’s Union, is dead. He was 70 years of age. Despite seven years of ill-health, he worked on until 3 p.m. to-day arranging a meting of the executive of the Seamen’s Union. He had a seizure while discussing the business and warput to bed. He died at 5 p.m. His doctor warned him at Christmas that he must ease up. but Mr. Wilson contented himself with a holiday at Bognor.
