CROSSING COLLISION
DRIVER CARRIED 80YDS MINOR INJURIES RECEIVED (From Our Oxen Correspondent) MATAMATA, To-day. A collision between a car and a goods train cocurred last evening at the Tower Road crossing. Mr. Edward Rowe, tobacconist, Matamata, the driver of the car, was carried 80 yards and the car was wrecked. Mr. Rowe had a miraculous escape, receiving only slight injuries and shock. He was admitted to a private hospital.
