Temperature in shade yesterday: Maximum, 69 degrees; minimum, 66 degrees; maximum temperature in sun, 126 degrees. Bright sunshine yesterday, 5 hours 10 minutes. Minimum temperature on grass, 53 degrees. Direction and force of wind at 9 a.m., S.S.W. (light breeze). Velocity of wind lor previous 24 hours, 114 miles. Humidity at ’9 a.m., 71 per cent.
