WAIHI COUNCIL ELECTIONS
Although the municipal elections aw close at hand very little interest being shown in them In Waihi. UP to the present only two candidate* have intimated their intention ctf standing for office, these being 11* Mayor, Mr. W. M. WaJlnut, who wfll seek a further term of office, andCfC. F. Butcher, who will again offerhtf services as a member of the borough council.
