WAITEMATA LOSES IN SWIM

Blount Eden Swimming Club's relay team of live scored an excellent win over a strong Waitemata team in the j 033 l-3yds relay at the third Mount \ Eden carnival last evening. 13. Plank made a good opening break , for Mount Eden, but, on the fourth relay, J. Enwright, Waitemata, and S. Solomon were together. Ir was left j for Hen de Lore© to win home for j Mount Eden from David Lindsay. In the women’s sprint, the girls on 1 the back marks, Ena Stockiey and ! Peggy Robertson, did not qualify for i the finals. Gordon Bridson had an easy win in the half-mile. The opposition was not ’ difficult.
