Seventeen Killed : 15 Others Injured
Bus and Tram Crash in Blinding Snowstorm (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright j (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 10.40 a.m. BELLEVUE, OHIO, Tuesday. SEVENTEEN are known to be killed, including four women, and 15 others were taken to hospital to-day when an electric inter-city tramcar crashed into a Pittsburgh-Chicago motor-bus in a blinding snowstorm near Bellevue. All the dead were in the 'bus. Some of the bodies were mangled beyond identification.
