NAKED BODY IN RIVER
MYSTERY OF THE RHONE WOMAN DECOYED AWAY (Australian and N.Z. Press Associationl ( U nited Service ) Reed. 9.5 a~m. PARIS, Thursday. A Lyons message states that a mystery is developing concerning Madame Marguerite Hodoyer, whose naked body was found in the River Rftorie, with a thin cord tightly drawn round her neck. She was an enthusiastic member of a fanatical cult centred at Saigon, which lias many disciples in Lyons. Following a post-mortem examination, which did not justify the belief that death was due to strangulation, the police are investigating the theory that Madame Hodoyer was the victim of a strange Indo-Chinese murder. It appears that she was decoyed from her home on Nove- her 11 by a false stor - that her husband was the victim of a motor accident.
