RIALTO, AND REGENT, EPSOM

“HONOUR BOUND” An intensely dramatic expose of the American convict labour system will be seen at the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) Theatres this evening in ‘•Honour Bound,” with George O’Brien and Rstelle Taylor in the leading roles. The story is about John Ogletree, who goes to prison to protect a woman entirely unworthy of such sacrifice. After two years he is transferred to the coal mines where he finds that his

former sweetheart has become the wife of the cruel and grasping coal baron who operates the mine. Having tired of her husband, she attempts to win back the affections of Ogletree which leads to a series of complications. Gripping highlights of the production are the

thrilling' scenes in the burning barracks, and an automobile wreck that, for excitement, exceeds anything of the kind ever before seen here. “Pay As You Enter,” which is also being shown, is an amusing comedy starring Louise Fazenda and Clyde Cook. Patsy Rutli Miller, Malcolm McGregor and Wallace McDonald have gone to work in a Jack London story directed by Elmer Clifton, whose “Down to the Sea in Ships" attracted attention a few years ago.
