LIFE MEMBERSHIP FOR MR JOHN ROWE
A pretty and well-deserved compliment was paid to Mr. John Rowe yesterday during the racing at Epsom, when Mr. R. K. Somers, president of the Te Aroha Club. presented the Auckland president with a gold badge emblematical of life membership. Mr. Somers said -Mr. Rowe had assisted in foundng the Te Aroha Club and had rendered excellent service to the country organisation since its inception. In recognition of his appreciable assistance, Mr. Rowe had been made a lite member of the club.
