BRIGHT DANCE FOR AMBULANCE . FUNDS ' STREAMERS AND LANTERNS The Druids’ Hall. Newton, presented I a bright scene last evening, when the Thames Girls’ Club gave a social and dance in aid of the St. John Ambul- ; ance Association. The hall was gaily decorated with 1 coloured streamers and lanterns, and I the stage with .the? club’s banner and j colours. Morrow’s Orchestra provided excellent dance music. Enjoyable ; musical items were given by Mrs. Tate I and Miss Surinam For non-dancers, card tables were set in an adjoining room, and prizes were won by Mesdames Rout, Hayes, Allen, and Mr. Jenkins.
