Cunliffe Owen owned the last Derby winner, Felstead. Stanley Wootton was the most successful trainer, having won 90 races, the stake money therefor amounting to £25,000. Gordon Richards, for the third season in succession, is the champion jockey, having piloted 149 winners. STEVE’S LAST BIG WINNER SUCCESS ON SARACEN (United P.A. — By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 9 a.m. LONDON, Sunday. Stephen Donoghue rode his last big race winner of the season on Saracen, who achieved his first important victory in yesterday’s Manchester November Handicap. The colt cost his owner 12,000 guineas as a yearling.
