New Party Rumours
POLITICS IN N.S.W.
FINANCE OBSTACLE (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Herd. 10,40 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. It was rumoured during the week-end that plans are being prepared for the formation of a new political party in Xew South Wales, comprising certain Nationalists who are dissatisfied with the present conditions in that party and moderate members of the Labour Party. While the rumour is denied by Parliamentarians, it still persists. A strong obstacle to the formation of a new political organisation is the matter of finance, and it would need to be particularly virile to withstand the combined opposition of the three parties at present in the field—Nationalist, Country and Labour.
