GERMANS LEAD BRITISH IN MAKING AIRPLANES

Explaining why he purchased a German airplane in order to study the practicability of the first half; of the Cape to Cairo route. Captain F. E. Guest, M.P., - says the British manufacturers seem to have depended almost solely on military orders and cannot supply a cabin plane for touring for business or pleasure. “I went to Germany and immediately found the plane I required. It seems a pity the British are letting the world market fall into foreign hands.”
