REFORM AND UNITED LABOUR’S ATTACK Charging the United Party with put-* ting forward the worst political humbug ever placed before New Zealand electors. Mr. W. T. Anderton, Labour candidate for Eden, addressed a meeting at the corner of Place Avenue and Edendale Road last evening. Mr. Anderton said the Reform candidate was without the confidence of : electors because of his Government’s mismanagement, which had Resulted in misery for thousands of people. The United Party was an even worse proposition. Its policy could not appeal to men and women who knew that economic conditions alone determined the standards of joy in life. Bluff was y the only difference between Reform and United, and the greater degree of bluff was in the United Party. Vho candidate was accorded votes of tlu.nks and confidence.
