70 MORE MEN AT WORK.
A decrease in the number of unemployed is shown by figures supplied by the Labour Department. The total of men out of work last week was 642. compared with 692 the previous week, of the total 526 were classed as fit for heavy work and 116 for light work. I luring the week 70 men were placed in work compared with 136 the preceding week.
