BACON PIE LIGHTLY fry some rashers of bacon and cut up in small pieces, and have ready some cold cooked potatoes. Put a layer of sliced potatoes in a pie-disli. then a layer of bacon and cori tinue with the layers till the dish is three-parts full. Sprinkle with pepper and salt and pour over ah beaten egg and milk in the pro portion of two eggs to three quarters of a pint of milk. Cool in a slow oven till the custard is set and the top lightly browned, and serve hot.
