ASSAULT CHARGE
ENGINEER REMANDED Charged with assaulting Eric Draper, Joseph Kane, an engineer, aged 24, appeared at the Police Court this morning. Draper’s nose had been broken and Sub-Inspector McCarthy suggested an adjournment until Thursday in order that the extent of the man’s injuries might be known. “Kane was in an hotel bar and hit Draper on the nose,” remarked the sub-inspector. Bail was allowed in one surety of £ 20,
