The closing: wool sales for the week revealed a strong and active market, with good general competition, and an attractive selection, stimulated by prices which ruled at the best levels of the week. Greasy merino fleece sold to L'S-'Jd, and comebacks to 252 d, both the highest figures reached this season. The day’s sales totalled 12.033 bales. SYDNEY PRODUCE MARKET The following are to-day’s quotations on the Sydney produce market:— Wheat.—At country stations, 4s Id; ex truck Sydney. 4s B£.d. Flour.—Local market quiet at £l2. Bran and Pollard.—Reduced 10s each to £0 10s. Oats. Tasmanian, white. 4s Sd to Is lOd; Algerian, 4s Gd to 4s 9d. Maize.—4s. Potatoes.—Tasmanian, ill 10s to £S; local, new, to £l2. Onions.—Victorian, .CIS. Adelaide prices are:— Wheat.—Growers’ lots, old. 4s Sd to 4s l»d; new season's, 4s Sd. Flour.—Bakers' lots, £ll 15s. Bran.— £6 10s. Pollard.— £7 2s 6d. Oats.—3s 3d.
