RECORD ATTENDANCE INCREASE OAMARTJ. Monday. The Oamaru Trotting Club’s oneday spring fixture was held tn fine weather, and before a record attendance. This was the first meeting held on the new course since the club joined forces with the Jockey Club, and the track was in excellent order. Th fields were large, and provided keen racing, with good finishes, and the results were gratifying to the new handicapper. Mr. U. A. Jarden.
