ROWDY MEETING
UNITED CANDIDATE AT GREY LYNN Mr. J. S. Fletcher, United candidate for Grey Lynn electorate, addressed a crowded meeting at the Bright Street Hall last evening. The meeting was at times distinctly rowdy, but it was fairly goodhumoured. After dealing with the loan proposals, land settlement, unemployment and the provision of employment for youth, the speaker allowed a good long period for questions, of which there were sheaves. At the conclusion a motion of thanks -and confidence was carried by a big majority.
