HARBOURED YOUNG GIRLS
SIX MEN CONVICTED Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. The cases against eight young men charged with harbouring two girls under 16 years of age, who escaped from a State institution at Burwood, were dealt with in the Police Court to-day by Mr. La wry, S.M. Victor Robert Blackburn was convicted on three charges and fined £10; Ernest Crozier, convicted on three charges, was fined £ls, one charge being dismissed; charges against George Boloski and Albert Ci*ozier were dismissed; Philip Gibbons, convicted on one charge and fined £5, three other charges being dismissed; James Hannon, convicted on three charges and fined £25; George Quaid, convicted on four charges and fined £7; Charles Timothy Rogal, convicted on two charge's and fined £ 10.
