Casualty List
In the representative Rugby match against Auckland on Saturday, two members of the New South Wales team were injured. G. Bland, a forward, had to go off with a broken nose, and yesterday had to be treated at hospital. After the game was over it was discovered that B. C. Caldwell, one of the centre-threequarters, had broken a vein in his left leg, and it Is feared that the injury may keep him out of the game for the rest of the tour. \ * * * Playing football for Kingsland at the Domain, L. Carpenter, of Akarana Flats, Whitaker Place, received concussion of the brain and had to be taken to hospital. His condition is not serious. Harold lsyson, of 18 Cooper Street, received a kick while playing for the Corinthian Club in the Domain. He was treated by the St. John Ambulance and later taken to hospital. His condition is not serious. * * * In a Rugby match at Paeroa on Saturday a footballer named Jeneshaw broke his shoulder and had* to be taken to the Thames Hospital.
