The match was drawn. Kent v. Middlesex. —Kent, first innings, 388 (Ashdown 72, Hardinge 74, Chapman 76). Middlesex, first innings, 89. Freeman took four for 45, and Marriott four for 24. Middlesex followed on and made 86. Wright took six for 22. Kent won by an innings and 213 runs. Sussex v. Lancashire. —Sussex, first Innings 300 fTate 50, Wensley 62, Cornford 56). Macdonald took seven for 106. Second innings 282 [Wensley 107). Lancashire, first innings, 542 for nine wickets, declared (Watson 236, E. Tyldesley 118, Makepeace 60). Second innings, 41 for two.
