PROFESSOR IMPRESSED

DELIGHTED WITH VISIT IN EDUCATIONAL interests "I have been enormously impressed with the British population of New Zealand and Australia," said Professor W. F. Osborne this morning on the Niagara. He is returning to Montreal, Canada, after a tour of the Dominion and the Commonwealth in the interest of the National Council of Education. "I am simply delighted with my trip; I have done remarkably well," he said. "I have met large numbers of leading public men and visited the larger cities to my great satisfaction." Professor Osborne is very pleased with the support which has been given his mission and hopes that many delegates both from Australia and New Zealand will attend the conference in Montreal next year of the National Council of Education. “I want 15 delegates from New Zealand, and I am sure we will get them. “New Zealand and Australia are so essentially British,” he said, “that it is desirable they should be closely in touch with everything relating to the Empire.”
