COTTAGE DESTROYED
FIRE AT MANUREWA (From Our Own Correspondent) MANUREWA, To-day. A three-roomed cottage in Grand Vue Road, Manurewa, owned and occupied by Mr. W. Goodyear, was destroyed by fire at 9.15 p.m. on Saturday. The Papatoetoe Fire Brigade answered the call, but on arrival the dwelling was razed to the ground, and as no other property was in danger, it returned to the station. The house was unoccupied, Mr. and Mrs. Goodyear being in Auckland.
