Airman Finds Father After Thirty Years

Received 1.5 p.m. SAN FRANCISCO, Friday. A three-word telegram, received here to-day, announced that the father of Mr. James Warner (who was wireless operator of the Southern Cross on the flight across the Pacific) is still alive. He was supposed to have died 30 years ago. Kingsford Smith's companion recently received a letter signed “Charles Warner: Please come and see hne. Pm ill. I think I’m your father."
James Warner hurriedly visited Oregon and found his parent who, 30 years ago. quarrelled with his wife and left her. The five children were left in a Kansas orphan asylum.
