NEXT SEASON’S FIXTURE PROGRAMMES FOR FOUR MEETINGS The coanplete programmes' for the Auckland Racing Club’s four meetings next season make interesting reading for owners and trainers. The dates of the forthcoming fixtures are as follow: —Spring meeting, Saturday and Monday, October 6 and 8; summer meeting, Wednesday (Boxing Day). Friday, Tuesday (New Year’s Day), and Wednesday, December 26, 28, January 1 and 2: autumn (Easter) meeting, Saturday and Monday, March 30 and April 1: and the winter meeting, Saturday, Monday and Wednesday, June 1. 3 and 5. No less than £OI,OOO. is to be distributed in stake money for the 11 days’ racing, an average of over £5,500 a day, which reduced to so much a race, works out at approximately an average of £720 for each event.
