LATE DAME ELLEN TERRY
MEMORIAL SERVICE A memorial service to the late Dame Ellen Terry will be held in St. Matthew’s Anglican Churcn, Wellesley Street, to-morrow evening, at 7 p.m. Canon Grant Cowen, chaplain oi? the Actors’ Church Union, will conduct the service. Members of the various compan/s playing in Auckland will attend at the service to pay their respects and homage to the late Dame Ellen Terry, and the orchestra from the St. James Theatre will play.
All strangers and visitors are invited to the parish hall after the service. Miss Elsie Prince will sing.
