OLD BOYS’ ASSOCIATION
KING’S COLLEGE MEETING ANNUAL REUNION OPENS At last evening’s annual meeting of the King’s College Old Boys’ Association it was decided to register the association as an incorporated society, and new rules were agreed to. Mr. J. A. B. Hellaby said they had a sum of money available for investing and this could be done to the best advantage by an incorporated society. Canon H. K. Archdall, headmaster of the college, congratulated the society on the last year’s work. Supporting his remarks, Mr. C. T. Major said it was a pleasure to see the financial progress the society had made.
A resolution was carried expressing appreciation of the services of Mr. J. V. Collins, who recently passed his 60tli birthday. Mr. Collins was also made a life member of the association. The election of officers resulted: Patron, the Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson; vice-patron, Canon H. K. Archdall; president, Mr. K. H. Wilson; vice-presidents, Dr. J. A. Roberton and Mr. E. A. Blomfield: committee, senior, Messrs. F. E. McCallum, S. C. Reid and J. C. Whitney; junior, Messrs. A. H. Marsack, H. T. Steele and D. C. iiain.
