“SHARPSHOOTERS” AT EMPIRE
George O'Brien and Lois Moran are the stars in “Sharpshooters,” which will be shown this evening at the Empire Theatre. The plot of the story revolves around a little French girl from Morocco and an American sailor. From Morocco the story moves to the New York East Side, where the girl has followed the sailor. There she falls into the clutches of a notorious bootleg king and it is then that George realises his love. In a smash-up climax George leads a gang of his friends to the hid-ing-place of the gang. The bootleggers are routed after a hard fight. “Alias the Lone Wolf,” the second picture, is a powerful melodrama, starring Bert Lytell and Lois Wilsori.
