SCOTS COMEDY
“BUNTY PULLS THE STRINGS” A plain story of life in a modest Scots home, “Bunty Pulls the Strings,” is a play abounding in soft, delightful humour. The St. Andrew’s Society, by which the play is being produced at the City Concert Chamber, gives an excellent performance. The cast is admirably balanced, and all the opportunities given by the playwright are exploited with deftness. Miss Peggy Hovey and Mr. J. D. Swan, whose amateur work is already favourably known, both give excellent performances. Miss Lillian Lugton and Mr. E .E. Addis are also satisfactory in their work. The play will be presented again this evening and to-morrow evening.
